Justice for James
Fifteen-year-old 9th grader James Prindle has been wrongfully accused of a crime so terrible it could get him killed. If he were to go to prison, he wouldn’t come out alive.
He’s accused of raping his baby sister. James didn’t do it, but that wouldn’t matter in prison. Inmates single out “child molesters” for a special hell which he’s already experiencing.
Even if he did survive, James might be as old as 75 when released and saddled with a “sex offender” label that will likely deprive him of housing, employment, even burial.
The police don’t have a single piece of evidence connecting James to the crime. The victim was in the care of one of James’ “friends” when the incident occurred. James was across the street when it happened.
Memphis TN police conducted an inadequate investigation and ignored more likely suspects. They only caught James in a lie. The authorities are railroading James as an adult in secretive proceedings.
